Welcome To Write A Book!
Write A Book is celebrating its 10th birthday this year!
Since 2001, The Galway Education Centre has managed this programme and hosted the annual Write A Book Awards Ceremony for the schoolchildren of Galway City and County!
Over the past 10 years, thousands of schoolchildren from hundreds of schools in the county have composed, written, illustrated, bound and presented over 20,000 books! On Monday June 6th, 250 children – chosen from over 5,000 entries received, will attend the annual awards ceremony in The Radisson Hotel in Galway to receive their awards, bask in the limelight and for the first time ever go live on the internet!
